My Background
I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Università degli studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia (December 2019), followed by a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics at Università degli studi di Siena (April 2022) with a thesis on drug side-effect prediction employing molecular graphs and graph neural networks. This increased my interest in bioinformatics and applications of AI and machine learning for biological datasets, which motivated me to start a PhD in the GHI group.
My Research Interests
I am interested in leveraging AI and machine learning aimed at analysing biomedical datasets in a fast and unbiased way, in order to identify new research directions and data-driven hypothesis.
